It’s been a big week for Institute faculty and staff making the news! On Wednesday, Professor Fredric Kropp was quoted by Fox News in an article looking at the unique marketing approach of upstart cellular service provider CREDO, which is trying to woo customers based on political compatibility. Then yesterday, CNS Senior Research Associate Nikolai Sokov was quoted in a New York Times article about prospects for a major new arms control agreement between the United States and Russia.
Wednesday also saw Monterey Herald coverage of the appointment of Ambassador Alan Wolff as distinguished research professor at MIIS, while Tuesday had Dr. Jonathan Tucker of CNS’s Washington, D.C. office quoted by the New York Times in an article about the Obama Administration’s emerging strategy for controlling the spread of biological weapons. Professor Ernie Scalberg also made it into the Herald on Thursday in an article about a new competition for business plans aimed at showcasing the potential of the region being planned for 2010 by the Marina Technology Cluster.
