Fundraising results are in for Fiscal Year 2011, and the Advancement Office is pleased to report several record-breaking figures. The overall number of donors to MIIS increased 20% this year with notable gains in gifts from foundations, alumni, and faculty and staff (up 37%), representing the highest number of alumni, faculty, and staff donors ever!  Also, the Institute raised $1M in gifts of $5,000 or more, meeting the Challenge extended by a generous anonymous donor who then contributed an additional $500,000. This is a promising start for the Challenge, which will generate $7.5M for the Institute over the five year duration.

Thank you to those staff and faculty who made a gift this year, many of whom are also alumni. Giving by those who know the Institute best is a vital part of helping MIIS thrive well into the future.  Your support is key to our ongoing success.
