In a continuing effort to streamline and improve service to students, the Center for Advising and Careers Services (CACS) recently implemented a few key changes.  Dr. Ed Laurance, who manages the placements for IPSS, and Carolyn Taylor, who manages the logistical support for IPSS, recently moved into CACS offices on the third floor of McCone.  CACS advisors will be working closely with Dr. Laurance and Carolyn in advising students on the benefits of IPSS. Dr. Laurance will also be serving as faculty advisor to the veterans on campus.

As an added bonus, Registrar Seamus Dorian moved into the third floor of McCone where he will be able to offer greater support to the advising team and improve communications between CACS and the records office.

To top things off, CACS will also benefit from the skills and knowledge of Lynn McDonald now that she has taken over for Jen Hambleton-Holguin who is away on maternity leave.  Jen is expected to deliver any day now and we’re looking forward to welcoming the newest member to our MIIS family.

As always, feel free to stop by CACS to visit or ask any questions about our services.
