Practice the basics of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with Kemi Fuentes-George.   Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is one of the most effective forms of self-defense, and has been shown to help smaller but trained people defend themselves against bigger, more athletic opponents under realistic conditions.  No experience necessary.   Both Gi and No-gi offered.   Please contact Kemi directly with questions, kgeorge@middlebury.edu

Kemi Fuentes-George has a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Julio Fernandez at Revolution Jiu Jitsu, a blue belt in Tae Kwon Do under Master Spengler of Delaware OH, and currently trains in  MMA and BJJ at Revolution Jiu Jitsu in Williston.  He is Assistant Professor of Political Science/Environmental Studies at Middlebury College.
