Wing & A Prayer Farm

Tammy has been caring for fiber animals on Wing & A Prayer Farm in Shaftsbury since 2001. For the last twenty years, she has grown her business and is currently selling wool products, home baked goods, eggs, geese, and lamb, as well as sharing her knowledge of farming and homesteading through workshops. She raises around 70 sheep of various breeds and enjoys the unique qualities of their various fleeces, all which she finds uses for. Tammy dyes all her wool with natural materials and is passionate about demonstrating the broad range of colors that can come from the earth. She feels closely bonded to her sheep and sees fiber farming as a means of removing carbon from the atmosphere and improving the soil.
