Lee Greenewalt

Big Sky Farm Handweaving

Lee has been weaving for over forty years in her home studio in Shoreham. Wool is her favorite fiber to work with and she cared for her own flock of sheep for many years. She focuses on household fabrics, weaving kitchen towels, wool blankets, and rag rugs from recycled clothing and is also an avid knitter, selling woolen hats and mittens. All Lee’s work is self-designed, and she enjoys making colorful fabrics, inspired by the colors of the natural world. She sells her products at farmers markets, craft shows, and wool festivals, and loves being a part of local fiber communities. Lee enjoys spending time with her large family and is hoping that one of her ten grandkids will take an interest in weaving!
