Rolling Bale Farm
Hilary lives with her husband, Ben, and their two young sons in Shoreham at Rolling Bale Farm, where they graze and hay 300 acres. They established their farm in 2014, and it has quickly grown to become a well-known diversified livestock operation. Hilary cares for a flock of around seventy ewes and sells her lamb directly to consumers as well as tanned sheepskins. Along with sheep, she raises broiler chickens and cows for beef and dairy, which is used in the farm’s creamery. Hilary’s flock originated from her mother’s Border Leicester sheep, and she enjoys seeing the flocks’ genetics change over time. She is passionate about the role of sheep in a healthy farm ecosystem and eager to share her knowledge of raising sheep and the butchering process with her customers.
