Singing Spindle Spinnery

Carol lives with her husband, Fred, in South Duxbury, where she teaches fiber art lessons and sells a wide range of supplies, equipment, and finished products. You can find her fiber products along with flowers, seeds, photocards, and poetry in her roadside stand on Route 100. Carol co-founded the Valley Friendly Spinner’s guild in 1982 and serves as a teacher and mentor to many aspiring fiber artists. She grew up on a sheep farm in Southern Vermont, and cared for her own flock for many years. She has a deep love for wool. Its qualities, along with the colors in her garden, inspire much of her art.
