We used ArcGIS Storymaps to tell digital stories about life and labor in Lakeside, a neighborhood of Burlington, Vermont built in the late 1890s to house workers at the Queen City Cotton Mill. These projects did not focus on Vermont Life magazine directly, but some touched on the one 1981 article in the Magazine about the French-Canadian community in Lakeside.
