The Vermont Center for Behavioral Science Research on Climate and the Environment is an innovative hub to connect and support students, faculty, researchers and community-based organizations across Vermont in connecting, sharing, and collaborating on climate and environmental projects. The Center is an opportunity for interdisciplinary research on assessing communication practices for climate and environmental policies, and reliable methods for changing environmental behaviors. We do this while training the next generation of research leaders and policy makers. The Center’s activities create immersive learning, critical engagement opportunities for students while providing community organizations access to high level research.

The Center is supported by the Energy 2028 initiative, administered by the Provost’s Office, at Middlebury College.
