Hi, I’m Viola Tsai. I am an experienced Traditional Chinese-English localization translator who is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Translation and Localization Management at Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.

I worked as research assistant in the Department of Linguistics and Translation at City University of Hong Kong for 6 months before attending the institute. I also worked as contracted translator for Lonely Planet Magazine and Ours Linguistics Services while I was in college. I graduated from National Taiwan University with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a certificate in Chinese-English Translation and Interpretation in 2017.
