Last night Leroy informed us it is time to make some changes in the AASD/Team Peru blogosphere. Until this year Team Peru and AASD have shared a blog. This week Leroy has devoted countless hours laying on “Guerilla Marketing for Nonprofits.” After careful thought, he suggested that we create a separate blog for sharing AASD projects in a more holistic manner. Team Peru is a vital part of what we do. But,  Leroy says we must give the students a place to share their experiences working with AASD both in Peru and back at MIIS.  Please follow our work and the work of our students in both places. Our mission is to provide and implement sustainable programs and projects in collaboration with the indigenous people of the Sacred Valley of Perú in an effort to improve their lives and reduce poverty in a culturally sensitive and appropriate manner. Furthermore, we work to support local NGOs with whom we have shared values using the skills and tools we possess.
