A student pulls his bike over to make room for a fast approaching truck. Many students walk or bike several hours round trip to school each day on this narrow mountain road in the Lares district.

Last summer students in Pampacorral captured moments of every day life through a photo project with the Andean Alliance. This is one of the many skillful photos taken by a student. To learn more about this project, click here.

Our mission is to provide and implement sustainable programs and projects in collaboration with the indigenous people of the Sacred Valley of Perú in an effort to improve their lives and reduce poverty in a culturally sensitive and appropriate manner. Furthermore, we work to support local NGOs with whom we have shared values using the skills and tools we possess.
