Katie Chiappetta is a junior at Middlebury College majoring in Statistics and Spanish with an academic focus on data analysis and global security. She has served as a Teaching Assistant for mathematics and statistics courses, strengthening her quantitative and analytical background. Katie’s academic work includes statistical learning, qualitative data analysis, and multiple classes on nonproliferation during her semester at MIIS, which she is eager to apply to issues of international security at CNS. She is particularly interested in how data and open-source research can inform policy decisions and global threat assessments. Katelyn looks forward to contributing to CNS projects this January and expanding her understanding of emerging security challenges.
