The staff at CNS are truly world-class. Nowhere else will you have access to such a wealth of knowledge in this issue area. I personally worked with staff on the Center’s ongoing projects relating to export controls, building upon skills and knowledge from my previous experiences. I feel as though I have made useful contributions to the mission of the Center, and that my work was valued and vital to my professional development. Monterey is a welcome escape from the southern summer heat. There is so much to explore on the west coast that every weekend can be a new adventure. The office culture is laid back and collaborative, which is great for students who are new to the nonproliferation field. CNS is a great place to spend the summer!
