“There is no better place to begin a life dedicated to nonproliferation and disarmament than at CNS. Although I knew very little about nuclear weapons when I started the internship, I left Monterey with a comprehensive understanding of the importance of nonproliferation, as well as the tools and networks necessary to pursue disarmament in the future. Only at CNS would an undergraduate intern be able to interact with nonproliferation experts on a daily basis, and work in an environment where everyone is so dedicated to making the world a safer place. Not only did I have the opportunity to gain knowledge about nuclear weapons, but I also had the chance to practice my research and writing skills under the mentorship of extremely well respected professors.”
