Major: History, Russian and Political Science Double Minor

Michelle Kim is entering her Junior year at Middlebury College pursuing a degree in History and a double minor in Russian Studies and Political Science. She spent the summer working on research with CNS specialists including the founding director Dr. William Potter in the field of nonproliferation and disarmament. Before coming to Monterey Michelle was already profoundly interested in Russia and the influence that nuclear weapons has had on the region. While at CNS she was able to involve herself deeply in many projects including country profiles on the Nuclear Threat Initiatives website, and Soviet/Russian and US cooperation in nonproliferation.
