Strategy and Marketing for Emerging Countries Program offered by the International Business School Americas in partnership with UNIP-Universidade Paulista.  This intensive 2 or 3-week program is designed for students and young professionals, with no restriction on field of study and no background of Portuguese language is required. The program is held in São Paulo,

International students can apply for Scholarship covering up to 70% of enrollment + tuition costs, being eligible second-year students and up or graduates.

The following program available:

January: 2 weeks

July or August: 3 weeks

1. Strategy & Marketing for Emerging Countries: this program is taught in English and is focused on the Emerging Countries context.

Nomination applications are due by 5pm for the following:

Beinecke  (juniors only, graduate school funding in arts, humanities and social sciences) go/beinecke
Goldwater (sophomores and juniors; science and math, undergraduate award) go/goldwater
St Andrews (seniors; graduate study in Scotland) go/standrews
Truman (juniors, graduate school funding, working in areas of public good) go/truman

This is a reminder that CLS Program’s third and final webinar will be held TODAY – Friday, October 17th at 3pm EST.  This webinar will provide information about the CLS Program, offer tips for a successful application and give ample time for Q&A. This webinar will focus heavily on application tips and will go into this topic in depth. Students applying to CLS should attend–No RSVP needed.

Humanity in Action Fellowship Program–Application Open!

Applications for the 2015 Humanity in Action Fellowship programs in Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, Paris and Warsaw are now open. Middlebury participants have found this to be a fabulous educational experience.

Humanity in Action invites applications from college students and recent graduates who are passionate about active and responsible citizenship, diversity and human rights. Current sophomores, juniors and seniors as well as graduates from the undergraduate classes of 2013 and 2014 are eligible. We encourage students of all academic disciplines, interests and backgrounds to apply.

The 2015 Humanity in Action Fellowship will run from May 25-June 28, 2015. The deadline to apply for this program is January 8, 2015. For more information, see www.humanityinaction.org

Webinars about Critical Language Scholarships for Summer Language Study

The Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) Program will be hosting 3 webinars this fall. Each webinar will give an overview of the CLS Program but also dive into a specific topic related to the program.
CLS is a program of the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, and it is part of a U.S. government effort to dramatically expand the number of Americans studying and mastering critical foreign languages. CLS is a fully funded overseas language program for American undergraduate and graduate students. With the goal of broadening the base of Americans studying and mastering critical languages and to build relationships between the people of the United States and other countries, CLS provides study opportunities to a diverse range of students from across the United States at every level of language learning. The CLS Program seeks participants with diverse interests, from a wide variety of fields of study, backgrounds and career paths, with the purpose of representing the full diversity of professional, regional, cultural and academic backgrounds in the United States.
