Translation & Interpretation Student Chelsea Rosendale

The Offices of Recruiting and Admissions at the Monterey Institute hire current students for special projects and administrative jobs as part of on-campus employment.  We would like to profile a few here in this blog.  Our first profile is Chelsea Rosendale.  Chelsea works with our office manager, Alice Villemaire, to coordinate much of the Recruiting Department’s domestic and international travel.  Our Enrollment Managers visit over 50 campuses around the world each year.  Chelsea helps prepare all of the materials for those visits, compiles important contact information and is responsible for maintaining a contacts databases to MIIS to keep in touch with educators around the world.

Chelsea is currently completing her first year in the Translation & Interpretation (T&I) program.  Her languages are French and English.  She graduated from Concordia College in Minnesota. Prior to coming to MIIS, she joined the Peace Corps and spent a year in Mauritania.  She also has worked in Paris as an au pair.  In this video interview, Chelsea talks about Pursuing a Career in French Translation & Interpretation.
