Hi everyone! I’m about halfway through Watchmen, and I have to say, I’m hooked. I like the cinematic quality of the book–I feel like I’m reading a film. I keep wondering how it could be written without the graphics, and I just don’t think it would work. Such an interesting genre–glad to be experiencing something new!

I consumed most of it in just a few days… I will wait until I am done before I view the movie trailer by Warner Bros.

I finished the book last weekend. It took me a little while to get into since I wasn’t used to the style, but after a couple chapters I found it hard to put it down. There are so many characters that I found it helpful to make myself a list with a short description of each along with their connections to others. Due to the details and complexity of the story, I felt the graphic depictions of the story made it much easier to digest. I do not know if I would have been able to follow along without the visual help. I found the comic book within the comic book an interesting touch!
