The Queer Studies House is supported by a primary advisor as well as the QSH advisory council, a board of faculty advisors who provide support and  guidance to current residents and who review applications of prospective residents. The QSH Advisor is Carly Thomsen, and the advisory board is comprised of professors from multiple departments, reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of queer studies:
