In this section of the website we seek to chronicle the work of members of the Middlebury community resisting marginalization and oppression today and standing in solidarity with those both inside and outside of the Middlebury community challenging the powers that be in this tense 21st century atmosphere. We are still learning how to confront racism, sexism, classism, heterosexism, ableism, transphobia as a community and as a society and these are the people, events, and histories that we feel are relevant as we remember that ‘a people’s history of Middlebury College’ will never be complete as long as the College exists, but persists today.
