What did you learn from your PCI involvement? The work I am most proud of were projects I worked on outside of the classroom. I find these experiences transfer more easily to my current work experience.

What do you do on a daily basis at your job/project? I work at a nonprofit called Rainier Scholars, which offers enrichment opportunities for under represented students and ensures a better quality education. I support all logistics and administrative tasks for the middle school and high school programs. I organize Saturday events, coordinate translators, send out mailings, organize three day leadership retreats and much more.

How did your experience with PCI fit in with your larger Middlebury experience and education? It certainly gave me a space to put my ideas into action and gain experience in organizing that have served me beyond college.

What are some unexpected challenges you’ve had in your post-graduation pursuits? (or your current job) What are some pleasant surprises? It is a challenge to be the youngest in your team. Moreover, working within hierarchies is also very challenging,

Where do you see yourself going in the future? I am currently waiting to hear back from law schools.
