The gay neighborhood is just known as le village, and it’s centered on St. Catherine from Amherst to Papineau. Especially fun in the summer, when it’s pedestrianized and most of the bars and restaurants have terraces out front.

The pink balls, which go along with the pedestrian zone, create a feeling that you’re in one festive corridor.

The rooftop bar at Complexe Sky can be fun, either for afternoon happy hours or for watching the fireworks in the summer.

There are some OK restaurants, but nothing we go to with any regularity.
