MonTREP director Russ Howard was the Keynote Speaker at the Special Operations Command Advanced and Basic Terrorism Courses Dinner at the Joint Special Operations University on February 5, 2013 and the Graduation Speaker for the Basic Course on February 7, 2013. Altogether, the courses comprised42 students from 26 countries.
