Languages have always fascinated me, if I could learn all the languages in the world I would be the happiest person in the world. Unfortunately, that is probably not going to happen. However, I have learned to speak and write in four different languages: Spanish, English, French, and Mandarin.My curiosity for languages and other cultures started since I was very little and grew even stronger when I moved from Colombia to the United States. I came to California, to a city that is only 20 minutes away from the multicultural hub that is Los Angeles. Since then, I have been moving between cultures and languages, learning as much as I could.

My travels around the U.S and to Colombia, Mexico and France sparked my interest in international education and multicultural environments. So after I received my B.A in Languages, I came to the Monterey Institute of International Studies in California to continue my professional development and pursue a Master’s degree in International Education Management.  Through my studies I am continuing my passion for languages and education, and hope to assist and encourage Latin American students, as well as students from the U.S. to study abroad and enhance their cultural and linguistic knowledge.
