On March 6th the second annual Alumni Appreciation Week, presented by College Advancement, will kick off with a dinner in Atwater Dining Hall. Please join us for a delicious meal in Atwater featuring alumni guests Churchill and Janet Franklin. The Franklins will speak about their Middlebury experience and why they remain actively connected to Middlebury. This will also be a great opportunity to show your appreciation for the alumni who support Middlebury.
Dinner space is limited to 220 students so please pre-register at go/aaw today!
Meet the Franklins: You may recognize their names from the Janet Halstead Franklin ’72 and Churchill G. Franklin ’71 Environmental Center at Hillcrest. Churchill and Janet have been active supporters of Middlebury for many years as fundraisers, event hosts and volunteers. Churchill was elected to Middlebury’s board of trustees in 1989, and served as chair of the board from 2000 to 2004. He became an emeritus trustee in 2005. Janet worked in the College’s office of alumni relations upon her graduation until 1974. In 1982, she served as class agent and helped raise funds for the largest10th reunion class gift ever at that time. She served on the leadership gifts committee for the College’s Bicentennial campaign in 2000, and is a past member of the Annual Fund Executive Council.
