EC grant proposals due 25th

Just a reminder that you still have time to apply for an Environmental Council Grant!

In this request for grant proposals, the Environmental Council encourages you to think outside the familiar green box to propose creative ways of promoting sustainability on campus. We are especially excited about ideas that incorporate the arts and humanities and focus on social as well as environmental sustainability. From a photojournalism exhibit exposing injustice in a food desert to organizing energy audits of local homes, there are countless ways to make our campus and our world more sustainable.

We have found that the most successful projects funded by Environmental Council Grants are collaborative—bringing together a variety of players from across the campus—provide a creative solution to a difficult problem, and have continuity beyond the initial funding phase. Proposals with those characteristics will be given priority.
