Each semester, the School in Italy organizes one 2-night excursion to places throughout Italy so that students can become familiar with the rich cultural and historical diversity that the regions of Italy offer. Along with overnight excursions there are also weekend day trips to locations that offer a deeper insight into the artistic marvels for which Italy is renown. Lastly, each course offered at the Middlebury School in Italy Sede has a co-curricular program that uses the city as a classroom, allowing students to enrich their studies by seeing first-hand the artistic, literary and historical locations that they are studying, in real-time.
