INJAZ Egypt : Summer 2012 Internships

INJAZ Egypt is seeking creative, energetic and dependable interns who are enthusiastic about working in the fields of entrepreneurship and education. In order to maximize the learning experience, all internships are full-time for a duration of 3 months.

Digital Media & Communications Intern 
Our Social Media Intern will work full-time with the INJAZ staff to maximize INJAZ Egypt’s digital media outreach, including being content manager of the INJAZ website, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, our e-newsletter, and other platforms. S/he will be responsible for gathering content directly from students, volunteer mentors, INJAZ staff and other sources, and for helping INJAZ use social media to: better engage student alumni and volunteer mentors; sustain lasting relationships among students and between students and mentors; and provide ongoing career support services to students. The Intern should have experience in working with websites and social media. Fluency in English and Arabic preferred. Experience with video and video editing is an advantage.

Development Intern 
Our Development Intern will work full-time with the INJAZ staff to assist with the INJAZ Egypt development, communications and fundraising strategies, including designing the INJAZ Egypt annual report and other communications publications, managing the launch of our new database and assisting with proposal development. Fluency in English is required and Arabic is preferred.

Programs Intern 
Our Programs Intern will work full-time with the INJAZ staff to assist the program staff with INJAZ courses and camps, including assisting with volunteer mentors, impact evaluation, and preparing for the 2012 Dare to Dream: Egypt’s Young Entrepreneurs Competitions. Fluency in Arabic is required and English is preferred.
