For Seniors/Febs-Interested in Working in the Nonprofit Sector?

The Vermont Community Foundation (VCF) seeks applicants for a two-year paid Community Philanthropy Associate position located in Middlebury, VT.

The fellow works with the Foundation’s communications team and philanthropic advisors to help our giving partners, including donors and grantee organizations, understand community need and the role of philanthropy in addressing those needs. Issues supported by our grantmaking include, but are not limited to:  affordable housing, healthcare, the arts, education, domestic and sexual violence, homelessness and hunger, and drug and alcohol abuse. The fellow will help develop products that highlight specific issues, identify barriers and opportunities, and suggest best practices and organizations where giving can have the greatest impact. The fellow will also assist in administering and enhancing the Foundation’s social media strategy, which includes maintaining our media search, facebook, and twitter accounts.
