Eight “Eco Friendly” Internship Opportunities

Summer Intern Program

Trenton, New Jersey

TerraCycle is one of the most dynamic green businesses in the US. Named “The Coolest Little Startup in America” by Inc. Magazine, the company was recently featured in the Financial Times. In addition, TerraCycle has its own TV show “Garbage Moguls” on the National Geographic channel. On behalf of over fifty major brands, TerraCycle collects branded non-recyclable waste, mostly packaging waste, (through licensees) and it turns that waste into new “eco-friendly” products and materials.

In addition to the United States, TerraCycle has operations in Canada, Mexico, the UK and Brazil and will continue both domestic and international expansion through 2010 and beyond.

If you are an undergraduate, MBA/graduate student or a recent graduate with a strong interest in green business, eco-capitalism, upcycling, recycling or social entrepreneurship, TerraCycle offers a unique opportunity for incredible growth, and innovative work. The Summer Intern Program runs from June 2010 to August 2010. Each department will offer different start dates but an internship requires a minimum of 30 hours a week. This is an unpaid internship but your lunch will be covered everyday! You can also arrange to receive academic credit for your work. Regardless of where you work you will interact directly with TerraCycle staff and partners, as well as be exposed to the company’s unique approach to outsmarting waste

Please send in your resume and cover letter, along with any additional documents to the specific department email. In your email header please list the position you are applying for. You can apply for multiple internships but make sure you mention that in your cover letter.
