Principles & Practices of International Education

For Principles & Practices of International Education I created a poster on Passport Career. I chose this organization because I had never heard of them before and wanted to find out what it was and what it did. By choosing this topic and researching this organization I realized how broad the spectrum of International organizations are and the different careers available.

Education Abroad Management

For my Education Abroad Management class I worked with two other students as a team for the organization ECOPA. Throughout the semester we performed a risk assessment, created a budget, developed a pre-departure orientation plan and a re-entry plan, and we created an emergency plan. Each of these projects provided me with the valuable experience of working for a start up organization. They also allowed me to develop my communication skills as my teammates and I worked to understand what ECOPA needed the most. These projects are listed below with permission from ECOPA.
