During Semana Santa (Holy Week), I took a backpacking trip through Cantabria and Asturias, Spain. I saw many picturesque towns and felt like I was transported back through history.

We escaped busy Madrid for a weekend to ski at Formigal in the the Pyrenees on the Spain side.
