Hello!
Welcome to my website! Here you will find my resume, relevant educational projects, community engagement and service projects, additional professional projects, and some images that make me smile. Three words to describe myself are positive, compassionate and dedicated.
I have a Master’s from the Monterey Institute of International Studies in International Education Management. This is a rigorous professional development program that was an exciting challenge and included a practicum with Global Vision International (GVI) in Costa Rica as the Community Programs Manger for GVI Quepos.
I’m originally from Vacaville, California and I have been fortunate to travel and experience many cultures and meet engaging people from all over the world. These past years found me teaching English in Madrid, Spain as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant, building my skill set by pursuing a master’s degree, and taking on the challenge of running a community education program with international volunteers in Costa Rica. I have always believed that every person makes a contribution to our world and for my part, I strive to help people from differing walks of life make connections through education and personal interactions.
International Education is a diverse field full of opportunities. I am passionate about educating and providing multicultural opportunities to students from all walks of life through international collaboration. These interactions can take place during a recruitment fair, on a study abroad program, during a volunteer opportunity, or a chance meeting at a local cafe. I particularly believe that international community service learning opportunities are ideal places for students and the community they collaborate with to form lifelong connections, challenge their worldviews, and meet community needs.
