Chinese Theology Forum 5th Annual Symposium
From August 22 to 24, 2012, I had the honor of serving as a simultaneous interpreter for the 5th Annual Symposium of the China Theological Forum, titled “Christian Faith & 21st Century China”. The conference was held on the campus of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, Massachusetts, participants including renowned scholars such as Chen Ming, He Guanghu, Lin Anwu and pastors from China and overseas.

The Fifth Annual China Theology Symposium will be held from August 22 – 24, 2012 on the campus of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary inSouth Hamilton,Massachusetts. Important scholars and Christian leaders from bothChinaand the West will dialogue on issues related to the church inChina, from culture and theology to society and missions.
With hopes to diffuse recent tensions between Christianity and Confucianism, a special section will be dedicated to deal with issues related to Christianity and China’s traditional culture. Leading academic proponents of contemporary Confucianism have been invited.
The goal of the meeting is to promote a rich dialogue across the boundaries of East and West, as well as of academy and church, on the topic of Christianity in China.
