I’m a Professor of Philosophy at Middlebury College. I received my PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, have an MA degree from the Claremont Graduate School, and a BA from Tulane University of New Orleans.
Before coming to Middlebury, I was Assistant Professor at the University of Waterloo and held a post-doctoral fellowship at Stanford University.
Outside of philosophy, you can find me in or on the water – skiing in the Green Mountains, or paddle boarding, sailing, or swimming in Lake Champlain. More often than not, I’m surrounded by dogs.
