Pauline David-Sax (interviewer & narrator)

Pauline David-Sax (she/her) officially joined Kolot in 2012 but was a long-time High Holidays attendee before that, drawn in by Cantor Lisa B. Segal’s beautiful melodies, Rabbi Ellen Lippmann’s thoughtful sermons, and Kolot’s “open tent” policy. Pauline first found community at Kolot through Torah study, and from there branched out into stints with the education committee and the membership committee (where she and her husband, Adam Conner-Sax, served as co-chairs). Pauline is currently a member of the Gemilut Chasadim committee and also works as a learning specialist for Kolot’s Children’s Learning Program; you can also sometimes find her on the bimah at High Holiday services playing the violin. Outside of Kolot, Pauline is a playwright, children’s book author and educator.
