Neta Kafka (interviewer)

Neta will graduate from Middlebury College in May 2023 with a major in Political Science and a minor in History. While at Middlebury, Neta was a ski patroller at the college ski areas, played club soccer, worked as an assistant in the Admissions Office, and led the student civic engagement organization called MiddVotes. Neta believes that if we all understood a bit more about the context behind the actions, words, and opinions of individuals and groups, the world would be a much better place. Hence her interest in participating in the Kolot Chayeinu Oral History Project. Neta was lucky to interview Board President Anne Sherman. Neta was particularly inspired by Anne’s commitment to service and selflessness and her ability to connect personally with individual members of such a large, growing congregation. Neta is honored to have played a small role in amplifying and preserving the stories of Kolotniks, and hopes that the project will contribute to a better individual and collective understanding,  therefore making the Kolot and broader communities stronger.
