Lisa Michelle Hoff (she, her)

After years of feeling suspicious of institutionalized Jewish spaces, in early 2022 I found a home at Kolot, where many members share my anti-zionist desire of working toward Palestinian liberation (though Kolot, at this time of writing, is not explicitly an anti-zionist institution). 

The ability to be a fuller version of myself among other Jews has allowed me to access the nourishment of Jewish song and ritual in its many different aspects. This, in addition to the care and earnestness of Kolotniks, keeps me coming back.
