English Language Teaching Assistant.

I spent one academic year as a Teaching Assistant, through the Teaching Assistantship Program in France coordinated by the French Education Nationale and the French Embassy in the United States. I taught English to students in K through 5th grade. In addition to classes in two Elementary schools, I gave private English lessons to students of various ages, from 10-year-olds to adults looking to perfect their professional English.
February 2012 – August 2012
Executive Assistant. MayCoach & Co. New Orleans, LA (remote).
MayCoach performs in-company executive coaching and training programs for international leaders. Working remotely, I re-organized and managed HR systems for MCC’s German CEO and founder. Working within an international team, I created marketing and promotional materials, and edited materials in English written by MCC’s international partners and coaches.
August 2011 – May 2012
Peer Advisor. Tulane University Office of Study Abroad. New Orleans, LA.
At the Tulane OSA, I founded and led the “Tulane Twins” Exchange Buddy program to pair exchange students with current Tulane students. Working within a small team, I promoted study abroad programs. I informed students on programs and the application process, and advised them in choosing the right program for their personal and academic needs. I executed various administrative duties such as answering emails and calls, speaking with parents, and organizing applications. I assisted in the implementation and troubleshooting for new study abroad application program, StudioAbroad. During it’s inaugural year, I actively participated in the planning and organization of Tulane’s first faculty-led Summer Abroad programs.
June 2011 – December 2011
Intern. The Generation Project. New Orleans, LA.
As an intern, I reviewed this non-‐profit organization’s previous gift donations and their impact on the participating students and teachers. I wrote and edited stories for each gift donated and implemented through the Generation Project in several cities across the USA, to show the global impact of the foundation.
