This Week: Nov 6 – 12

What shapes your desires?
Spiritual ideals? Parents? Peer Pressures? Bodily Yearnings?

This week we will be setting up a “PROXE Station” which will be asking our Middlebury College community this question and several others about desires and longings. Following this, Sarah Shin, Boston Area Director, InterVarsity USA, will be holding a talk to discuss these questions.


Tuesday 10 PM, Ross Senior Lounge 
COREA space to build Christian relationships with one another. This week will be important training for the PROXE stations on Wednesday and Thursday as well as supporting one another.

Wednesday 6:15 PM, Ross Fireplace Lounge, MCF Weekly Dinner: Hang out, eat food, meet new friends and catch up with old ones. All welcome!

Freshmen Group:
 Explore the life and teachings of Jesus as told in the book of Mark! This group is for freshmen and actively welcomes students of all spiritual backgrounds. No experience with church or the Bible required!

 Sarah Shin, Boston Area Director, InterVarsity USA, will be leading a talk on the topic of Desire as follow-up to the questions and discussion taking place at the PROXE stations.

Professor Matthew Dickerson is leading a co-ed Bible study discussion group for first year students.

If you would like to pray as a group for the proxe stations and Sarah’s upcoming talk, we will meet at 11:15am on Monday on Proctor Terrace and 12:30pm on Tuesday in front of Ross.
