TEDx Monterey will be back in full force on April 15 from 10 am to 4 pm to deliver an amazing, all star line up of inspirational speakers including Andrew Hargadon, author of How Breakthroughs Happen; social entrepreneur and mentor capitalist, Margarita Quihuis; F. Noel Perry, founder of Next 10; and many more.
Following in the footsteps of last year’s conference, this year’s TEDxMonterey will inspire, engage and connect the Monterey community with fascinating leaders, inventors, scientists, artists, community activists, global dreamers and YOU.
Set to take place in the Irvine Auditorium at the Monterey Institute, this year’s conference theme is Cultivating Innovation. This means unpacking “innovation” as both a creative and practical process. As we explore “Cultivating Innovation”, we learn how to recognize good ideas, nurture creativity, translate ideas into the world, and the consequences of their implementation.
Maureen Fura, TEDxMonterey’s fearless leader, explains “It’s all about having the right mix of people in the room. Our goal is to create the premiere networking event in Monterey County, not only for Monterey Institute students but for the entire Monterey community.”
