Idea Teams are gearing up for the IDEA SLAM this Wednesday, March 9 at the Holland Center (12:00 – 2:00pm), and we can hardly wait!  Teams will be presenting their ideas to the MIIS community at large, followed by the opening of online idea voting.  Swing by Holland Center for pizza, drinks and to hear some of your most innovative colleagues pitch their ideas.

Students, faculty and staff are all invited to submit their votes after the event and decide the top 3 Idea Teams who’ll be presenting on the big stage at TEDxMonterey.

Be part of the InnovateAble IDEAS Competition, this year’s innovation process! The DMC is hosting an IDEAS mixer this Monday, Feb 28 at 12:30pm in Kade.

We provide cupcakes, pizza, and a forum for students and faculty to mingle and brainstorm. Innovators will pitch their concepts, get feedback and create IDEA Teams.

The MIIS Community brainstormed 21 awesome topics. Ideas include increasing networking opportunities on campus, integrating technology with academics, and an Amazing Race-style program where students compete in the field to help an NGO.
