Cindy Tao (MACI ’12) interprets between President Tsai (right) and U.S. Assistant Secretary of Commerce Marcus Jadotte (left). Cindy became a staff interpreter with Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2015.  
 
Pear Lin (MATI ’95) interprets between President Tsai (right) and Nauru President Baron Waqa (left). Pearl joined Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a staff interpreter in the late 1990s and has since served four presidents of Taiwan.
