International Professional Service Semester 2016 (Deadline: March 31, 2015)
International Professional Service Semester (IPSS) is an immersive learning experience, integrating academic work with professional experience. Students serve as junior professional staff members in an international organization while producing specific deliverables for academic credit. The IPSS program is offered through the Graduate School of International Policy & Management (GSIPM) during the spring semester.
DPMI – Design, Partnering, Management and Innovation Summer 2015 (Deadline: April 1, 2015)
DPMI is a leadership certificate training in international development and social change with a focus on innovative approaches to designing projects, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and forming strategic partnerships. Students design international development projects, conduct NGO network analysis, and prepare a behavior change strategy for a nonprofit or NGO client. Summer trainings offered in Monterey, DC, and Kenya with post-training internship options in Kenya and DC.
