This fall, Middlebury will host the annual conference of the Association of Chinese Political Studies, to be held in Monterey October 10-11. College professors Jessica Teets and Orion Lewis and Institute professor Wei Liang organized the conference, and will present, along with some of their students, on their summer work, “Engaging China through Field Research.” This project guided mixed teams of undergraduate and graduate students as they investigated policy development in China in the areas of trade, educational access, and environmental sustainability.
