Elizabeth Haney, an Associate Director in Middlebury’s Office of Grants and Sponsored Programs, was selected to receive a $500 travel award from the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA) to subsidize the cost of her attendance at the NCURA Region I Spring Meeting on May 2-4, 2016 in North Falmouth, MA. NCURA Region I offers a wide variety of educational, networking, and professional development programs for research administrators in New England through the volunteer efforts of its members. The theme of the Spring Meeting is “Leadership through a Sea of Change,” and the program features a keynote talk on leadership, presentations from federal agency representatives, and concurrent sessions and discussion groups on all aspects of research administration. Liz’s participation in the conference will surely inspire and influence her work here at Middlebury. Congratulations Liz!
