Biography:

Who runs the world? Microbes! I’m a molecular microbial ecologist, meaning I use molecular biological techniques to ask questions and gain insight into microbial ecology. The lab’s current research investigates bacteria and archaea involved in mercury methylation in St. Lawrence River wetland sediments.
