Mission Failed

Everything one holds dear, balancing on a wire.

Left all to trust, but the one you trusted: wearing a wire,

Escaping is no easy feat, knowing there are jagged rocks below,

but fortunately, your adrenaline knows how to zip-line down that wire.

A pack of ten killers, all armed, strong; recently hired.

But there strength is no match, and no muscle can stop you from cutting that wire.

Your foe becomes weary, holding your heart hostage

at gunpoint nonetheless, but emotions must be controlled; and focus: wired.

Precision accuracy, you were a natural since day one,

you have the girl, but the money has all vanished. Ten banks all wired

to several separate estates, no trace to the villain.

Captured now, with your girl; back to back, hands fastened with wire.

You question yourself. How did i get my self here?

Stealth mission gone wrong, surrounded, really wishing in that instance you didn’t trip that wire.
